▷ First Impressions

▶ VISUAL: Humanoid, with grey skin and forked orange horns. Eyes are probably green with yellow sclerae, but the tinted lenses of her glasses make it difficult to determine the exact color. A bit over six feet, narrow shoulders, athletic build. Hair is black, straight, worn in a floppy undercut. Typically wears dark colored, androgynous clothes in multiple layers of different materials and textures.
▶ AURAL: Alto, with some rough edges on her voice - rougher when in good humor. Leslie Fish is a good reference point.
▶ OLFACTORY: Disinfectant. Strong detergents. Occasionally vaguely citrusy.
▶ DEMEANOUR: Dry, curious, easily amused but tends to hold herself a little aloof. Personal bubble is fairly small but rigidly defined; gestures are small, decisive, and close to the bodyline. Asks questions more readily than she volunteers information.
Plain-spoken. Cautious of potential cultural clashes with aliens. A little reluctant to reveal her precise blood color. Not afraid to get her hands dirty. Keeps medical supplies in her strife deck and contraband in her sylladex.

▶ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: She's likely to rebuff you if she doesn't know you well enough that she's comfortable with you being in her space, but you're welcome to try.
▶ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: I'd like to avoid lethal or disabling injuries without prior discussion, and please be aware that Jetshard's a noncombatant by Alternian standards - she's still better able to defend herself than many humans, but she doesn't enjoy physical violence and she's inclined to disable her opponent or disengage as quickly as possible.
▶ RELATIONSHIPS: Her quadrants are currently wide open, if you're inclined to try, although with non-trolls she's likely to be more interested in casual flings than committed relationships. Also please feel free to pursue platonic relationships with her. She thinks people are interesting.
▶ PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: No overt powers of her own. She's more psychically receptive than a human and more aware of her own psychic boundaries; telepathic characters will find her easy to project clearly to, but she's relatively good at recognizing when emotional or cognitive activity is coming from somewhere other than her own mind, even if she can't block it out. As long as the telepath is open about what they're doing and doesn't go digging past surface thoughts, she has no real objection to mind-to-mind contact. In cases where the telepath tries to conceal their activity from her, goes searching for particular information beyond her surface thoughts, or attempts to influence her thoughts, emotions, or desires, Jetshard will be extremely upset - I'm open to playing this out, but please be aware that this kind of psychic invasion will very likely cancel out whatever positive rapport she may have previously built with the telepath.
▶ MAGICAL INFORMATION: There's nothing particularly magical about Jetshard.
▶ MEDICAL INFORMATION: Middle-aged jadeblooded troll in relative good health. Tendency to freckle with extended sun exposure, but doesn't burn easily and can tolerate high light levels. Asymptomatic pre-vampirism (detectable via blood test, may be apparent to characters with senses specific to infectious disease or contamination).
▶ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Distrustful of Alternian Imperial loyalists and may become hostile if pressed for her political affiliations by other trolls (less concerned by similar questioning from non-trolls, but still may be cagey). Defensive around questions about vampirism. Becomes anxious in enclosed spaces close enough to limit movement or without detectable air currents.

▶ BACKTAGGING: Pretty much indefinitely, tbh.
▶ THREADHOPPING: Go for it.
▶ FOURTHWALLING: Jetshard's based in what is, from her perspective, a non-SGRUB AU (the canon characters diverted at Cascade and reality-hacked their way into an intact timeline, with everyone else being none the wiser) and comes from a point more than two and a half sweeps after the date that the Vast Glub should have occurred. I'm ok with fourthwalling her for Homestuck canon, but she's... unlikely to be convinced of its accuracy. I'd rather not fourthwall her for her native AU.
▶ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Nothing that's a hard no. I'd appreciate some warning on eye trauma, hand trauma, or malignant parasites.
▶ ANYTHING ELSE? Jetshard is, in her "canon," familiar with young adult versions of Vriska (under the name Marquise Lightweb), Karkat (under the name the Unsigned), Feferi (under the name Heritrix Lifetide), Nepeta, Sollux, and Tavros (none of whom have claimed adult names at her canonpoint). She has no knowledge of the canonical events of Homestuck or Hiveswap. In the event that she encounters a canon character she would recognize, I'd prefer to play it as parallel universe weirdness rather than have her not recognize them.

Her typing quirk is fairly simple, o)+ Prefacing with her sign and capitaLizing the Letters P and L, in hemoanonymous grey in PubLic communications or her bLood coLor in Private communications with PeoPLe she trusts. If you need unquirked or uncolored transcripts, I can provide them.
